The SHADY CANYON DESIGN SHOWCASE

|
About the Project Located on one of the highest points in Shady Canyon, this Tuscan Farmhouse enjoys great views and privacy. Designed using authentic photos of classic Chianti region estates, its hard to believe you're in Orange County and not in Tuscany Italy. No expense was spared to duplicate the old world look and feel of a farmhouse in the vineyards. Positioned on a large view lot in Shady Canyon, the estate has 6055 Sq Ft of living space, plus large central courtyard, several covered loggias, and view decks. Designed to maximize the views, both inside rooms and strategically located outside areas give the home a comfortable and private feeling. The location backs to a dedicated nature preserve offering exceptional views and an open feeling. To view a photo gallery of the estate, including construction images, click Here. About Shady Canyon The entrance to Shady Canyon is less than a mile from the 405 freeway in Irvine, yet its two-lane country road leads one to a valley that feels removed from the world outside. The road travels through part of Shady Canyon's 800 acres of open space that extends beyond the rugged Orange County ridgelines. Even within the developed portions of Shady Canyon are another 175 acres of “internal open space,” and the 300-acre Shady Canyon Golf Course, designed by Tom Fazio, which qualifies as a "special linkage" supporting the protection of sensitive species. Encompassing all of this are 16,000 acres of natural sanctuary extending to the Pacific Ocean and managed by The Nature Conservancy, the international land-preservation institution. At Shady Canyon, planners envisioned the prestigious look and rural feel of the community. Imagining a marriage of native Orange County environs, luxury residences and custom home-sites are tucked into the hills, and native Southern California vegetation is preserved. The result is a residential and golf preserve whose design and amenities achieve the highest level of quality and harmony with their surroundings. |
